HUNTERSVILLE – The Hericanes Relay for Life team will host a Soup and Dessert Cook-off on Saturday, March 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the MacAulay Clubhouse off Stumptown Road. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 for a family.

Judges will evaluate soup and dessert recipes during the event and award prizes for the first- and second-place dishes. The evening will also feature live music from new band Undercover.

Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, takes places May 20 at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville. The Hericanes team raised almost $17,000 in the past two years, Michele Gobble, an oncology nurse, said.
