The Herald Weekly is pleased to announce its newest education reporter, Tori Hamby.

Hamby will cover the north Mecklenburg County schools and report on the issues facing them.

Hamby joins the Herald staff after nearly a year at the News-Journal in Raeford covering a variety of topics. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications in Chapel Hill.
