Connor Young, a 17-year-old senior at Hopewell High, recently completed his Eagle Scout project. Connor, a member of Troop 19 based at Huntersville Presbyterian, built and installed a picnic area and two tables at Richard Barry Park on Beatties Ford Road. The project includes a handicap accessible table. Connor earned Eagle Scout rank on Dec. 28, 2010.
