David Boraks, owner and editor of DavidsonNews.net in Davidson, announced this week the launch of CorneliusNews.net, which will cover Cornelius.

Christina Ritchie Rogers, former education editor for The Herald Weekly and Mountain Island Weekly and a Davidson 2003 graduate, will take over as full-time reporter and editor of the new site.

CorneliusNews.net will celebrate its launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on Friday, March 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Just Baked Cupcakes inside Carolina Art Garden, at the Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak St. in Cornelius.
