Cookies for a Cause, a Cornelius based foundation, is seeking donations to give cookies to Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, which will open its doors this spring.

For $15, a person or organization can purchase a tub of cookie dough, which will be given to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.

The mission of the Ronald McDonald House, which has the capacity to host 28 families at any given time, is to create a comfortable, home-like environment.

Cookies for a Cause is taking donations until April 4.
