HUNTERSVILLE – The American Cancer Society will host its inaugural Bark for Life Lake Norman at Birkdale Village March 26. Bark for Life is a noncompetitive event for dogs and their owners to raise funds for and awareness of the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.

Registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m., and the walk begins a Regal Cinema at 9. At 10:30 there will be demonstrations, contests and games. Registration is $20.
