The Davidson Day Elementary Battle of the Books Team, composed of third- through fifth-graders, defeated Cannon School, Providence Day School, Salisbury Academy and Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in the district championship March 9, to advance to the Regional Competition in April. The Patriot team answered more than 95 percent of the questions correctly, missing only two questions in three hours.
