U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick, who represents North Carolina’s 9th district, which includes Huntersville and Cornelius, has been named the chairman of the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Terrorism, Human Intelligence, Analysis and Counterintelligence.
“I am excited and honored to have been selected to serve as chairman of the subcommittee,” Myrick said in a news release. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on the important issues under its jurisdiction and ensuring the safety and security of the American people.”
Myrick was first selected to serve on the Committee on Intelligence in 2009.
