The Lake Norman Copperheads baseball organization will hold its annual golf tournament on April 27 at Pine Island Country Club.

The format is captain’s choice, and the shotgun start is set for noon. Entry fees are $150 per person and $600 per team. Funds raised by the golf tournament will support the Copperheads, a summer collegiate baseball team that plays in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League, which uses wooden bats. The Copperheads organization also fields youth baseball teams that compete primarily in national ­tournaments.
