CHARLOTTE – Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, in partnership with the IRS and Family Financial Literacy Coalition, will offer tax assistance to people who make low or moderate incomes and the disabled.
Appointments are available from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 18. Walk-ins will be accepted from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
People seeking tax assistance will need to bring photo IDs, Social Security cards for themselves and their spouses, wages and earnings statements, total amounts of itemized deductions and bank documents.

Goodwill is also seeking mentors for its GoodGuides youth mentoring program. The organization hopes to recruit at least 25 new mentors.
