Containers observed with sticker residue stuck to surface. Containers and pans with food debris stuck to surface stored with clean items.
• Red Robin, 9425 Northlake Commons Blvd. – 94
Sanitizer container for dish washer was empty. Clam chowder and chili cooked and not properly cooled. Hamburgers and chicken stored at 60 degrees, but should have been stored at 45 degrees or lower.

No critical violations noted.
• El Paraiso Restaurant, 20700 N. Main St., Cornelius – 95.5
Observed rice not cooled properly.

Utensils with food debris stored with clean items. Chlorine sanitizer not at proper concentration.

About the grades
Restaurants are given grades of A for scoring at least 90 percent, B for 80 to 89 percent and C for 70 to 79 percent. The state revokes permits for restaurants that score below 70 percent.
Restaurants are eligible for two bonus points if an employee has completed a food service sanitation program within three years.
