Torrence Creek Principal Chuck Nusinov will take over as head of Countryside Montessori School in Charlotte this fall.

“Coming back to Countryside Montessori is like coming back home,” Nusinov said in a news release. His children, now 10 and eight years old, attended Countryside for preschool.

The current head of school and founder Debby Haugh plans to retire at the end of the school year.

“I have great confidence in the future of Countryside under the leadership of Chuck Nusinov.  He has a proven track record of inspiring students, empowering teachers and energizing parents,” Haugh said.
