CORNELIUS – The Lake Norman Wine and Food Festival has changed the date of its second-annual event to May 14 because of a scheduling conflict.

“Due to other wine events in the state, we felt it necessary to move our festival timeline up a couple of weeks,” said Gardner. “Fortunately, we’re still ahead of schedule and plan to build upon the outstanding success of our inaugural festival which brought together four major sponsors, six eateries, a dozen merchants, and 13 wineries serving over 60 wines. This resulted in over 1,100 attendees and raised over 750 pounds of food for our selected charities.”
