A pair of SouthLake girls basketball players were named to the Metrolina Athletic Conference girls basketball all-conference team.

Juniors Courtney Hailey and Brianne Mack were recognized after leading their teams to second place in the league and a record of 21-7 entering the state playoffs. As the No. 12 seed, the Eagles traveled to No. 5 seed Fayetteville Academy for the first round of the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 2A playoffs on Feb. 22.

SouthLake junior Connor Duncan was named to the MAC boys basketball all-conference team.
