Former WNBA and N.C. State women’s basketball star Andrea Stinson will hold a free basketball clinic at the Bailey Road Recreation Center (11900 Bailey Road) on Saturday, Feb. 26.
The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 17 and will take place from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Stinson, a Cornelius native, still ranks third on N.C. State University’s scoring chart with 2,136 points and played nine seasons in the WNBA. She became the first Charlotte Sting player to have her jersey retired.
