CORNELIUS – The Lake Norman Kiwanis Club recognized Richard Ruff for 30 years of service with a Legion of Honor award.

Ruff has been a part of the Lake Norman club since its inception in 1993. He has worked with the Key Clubs at Hopewell and Lake Norman Charter high schools. Ruff also helped open the Builders Club at Bailey Middle School.

The Lake Norman chapter meets Thursday mornings at 7:30 for breakfast at Acropolis Restaurant in Cornelius.
