Students at Torrence Creek Elementary recently collected more than 1,000 books during a book drive for the Barium Springs Home for Children. The Character Education Committee organized the collection.

“The administrators at the orphanage were truly amazed at our students’ generosity and character,” said Stephanie Reid, fifth-grade teacher and committee advisor.
