Torrence Creek Elementary School fourth-graders bring history to life this month as they host – and fill – a historical figures “wax museum.”
Students in Laura Nottinham’s fourth-grade class debuted the museum Monday, Feb. 14 in the school’s front hall. Other fourth-grade classes will participate throughout the month.
In preparation for the wax museum, students researched individuals that have changed the world and wrote reports on them. They then dressed the part and prepared 10 facts to recite as part of the museum exhibit. Museum-goers pressed “buttons” on the fourth-graders’ hands, prompting them to recite the facts.
