On Feb. 15, Hopewell football player Jason Williams signed a National Letter of Intent with Catawba College. Williams, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior wide receiver, had more than 300 receiving yards for the Titans this season.
On Feb. 7, Davidson Day girls soccer player Brianna Wills signed with Appalachian State.
On Feb. 3, four North Mecklenburg High athletes signed: baseball player Paul Leonard (UNC Pembroke), football player Andrew Yost (Campbell), baseball player Anthony Dimino (USC Upstate) and soccer player Patrick Harrow (Appalachian State).
On Feb. 2, Lake Norman Charter boys cross country runner Jordan Phillips signed with Wingate.
