CHARLOTTE – Staff with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities will brief the Charlotte City Council on Monday, Feb. 14, on proposed changes to the utility’s rate structure.

People can sign up to speak at the council meeting, which starts at 7 p.m.

The public also may attend a city council dinner meeting Monday at 5 p.m. in Room 267 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, at 600 E. Fourth St. There will be no opportunity for the public to speak at the dinner. City and utility staff will brief council members on proposed changes to the rate structure.

People also can comment at the council’s upcoming citizen’s forum on Feb. 28.
