Eleven students from Tianli International School, a Chinese private boarding school in Luzhou, in central China, spent the last two weeks experiencing local culture during a visit to Cannon School in Concord.

Cannon School families hosted the visiting students during their trip, and the Chinese students visited classrooms, and toured area universities and walked through uptown Charlotte.

Tianli has been Cannon’s sister school since 2004. Since then, Cannon has welcomed 85 Tianli students and faculty members, including five students now studying at American and Canadian universities in part because of their visit to Cannon and the U.S.
