Corvian Community School invited parents and community members to get fit while helping raise money for the school, which opened in August.

“Health and Wellness is a huge part of Corvian and I want to bring this piece into fundraising,” School Founder and Director Stacey Haskell said in an e-mail.

Charlotte Family Yoga Center, 10215 Prosperity Park Drive, Charlotte, sponsored the fundraising night, and instructor Amber Nix led a full class. Nix also teaches Kindergarten at Corvian.
“I feel it is a great way to bring together the community and the Corvian parents with Health and Wellness,” Haskell said.

The event raised $210 for the school.
