DAVIDSON – Trent Brown joins Davidson Day School this month as director of admission and financial aid. He brings with him experience in business development, as well as eight years of experience in admissions and 13 years of experience in recruiting.  “Having a person with extensive admissions experience is such a critical component to a thriving academic institution,” Head of School Bonnie Cotter said. “At our school, it is vital that the first point of contact for an interested family is one that is friendly, personable and is willing to go the extra mile. Trent exemplifies all of those qualities and much more. We are thrilled to have him join our school.”

“I am very excited to join the DDS family,” Brown said. “The staff, students, and inspirational environment were all a draw for me and I am looking forward to the opportunity to build upon the special school that Davidson Day truly is.”

A native of Syracuse, N.Y., Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., in 1997 where he was an All-American in lacrosse. He will also coach the school’s lacrosse team.
