Christmas in Davidson took over downtown Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, Dec. 1 to 3 for its 23rd year. The festival featured vendors, food from local restaurants and activities. Carolers sang in churches and on sidewalks, while skaters enjoyed a faux ice rink and face painting transformed children into snowflakes. Local and national nonprofits spread awareness and raised funds with baked goods, ornaments and stuffed animals.
