CHARLOTTE – Barnette Elementary School has been selected to compete for a $25,000 grant this month as part of Pepsi’s Refresh Everything Project.
If selected, the school will use the money to purchase a classroom set of iPad2s, applications and additional equipment. During the last two years, Pepsi has given away more than $1.2 million per month to help improve organizations, communities and schools. The top 15 online and text-in voter getters will be awarded $25,000 each.
Community members may vote once a day by going online to www.refresheverything.com/barnette and voting for Barnette Elementary or by texting 110386 to PEPSI (73774).
