HUNTERSVILLE – Foot and Ankle Associates opened a new, state-of-the-art facility recently in the Gilead Medical Center, a half-mile west of Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville on Gilead Road.

Foot and Ankle Associates was founded in 1998 by Dr. Adam Shapiro and has treated more than 32,000 patients in the Lake Norman area.

The clinic focuses on foot disorders, elective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic foot issues.
