CORNELIUS – To celebrate the holidays, Bailey Middle School placed a Christmas tree in the front office featuring ornaments that can be sponsored as part of the local Habitat for Humanity Middle School Build Project.

Each ornament features a household item, such as keys or electrical outlets, and its suggested dollar value. Participants should take an ornament and donate the suggested amount of money. Donations can be given directly to the front office or sent to homeroom teachers. All checks should be made payable to Bailey Middle School.

Items can be sponsored until January and range in price from $1 to $250. Proceeds go to the Middle School Build project, an effort among Bailey, Bradley and J.M. Alexander middle schools to build a Habitat for Humanity house in the area this spring.
