DAVIDSON – Former Town of Davidson planning director and development manager, Kris Krider, has been hired to serve as Kannapolis’ planning director.

Krider worked as Davidson’s planning director since 2003. He was reassigned as the town’s Economic Development Director last year during a reorganization of town staff. He stepped down from that position earlier this year.

Krider began work in Kannapolis Monday, Nov. 28.
