CORNELIUS – Locals will be able to purchase handcrafted gifts and collectibles from local and African artists while helping improve the lives of Kenyan children at the Lake Norman Artisan Marketplace on Nov. 18 and 19 at KadiFit in the Oak Street Mill in Cornelius.

The event runs from 4 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 18, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 19.

Proceeds will go to the Kilgoris Project, a non-profit run by Huntersville resident Tia McNelly and her extended family.
