CORNELIUS – Habitat for Humanity held its first leadership development program for executives this week at North Carolina State University. The program, called Achieving Collaborative Capacity for Executive Success, focused on strengthening individual, Habitat affiliate and community capacity by addressing key challenges Habitat leaders face.
Rachel Meyers, director of operations of Our Towns Habitat for Humanity, was one of 20 Habitat participants attending the leadership development’s kickoff session, Oct. 25-26.
N.C. State University faculty members taught the two-day session from the Institute for Nonprofit Research, Education and Engagement. Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International, was a guest speaker at the conference.
