HUNTERSVILLE – The second annual Lake Norman Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale will take place Dec. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Birkdale Commons shopping center off West Sam Furr Road.

The event coincides with another Cookies for Kids’ Cancer sale at Blackhawk Hardware, 4249 Park Road, in south Charlotte, on Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Combined, the sales made more than $30,000 last year, which Bank of America and Glad Corp. then doubled.
