HUNTERSVILLE  – The town seeks applicants for three Parks and Recreation Advisory Board seats that will expire on Dec. 31, 2014 and one one-year term that expires Dec. 31, 2012. The town also seeks applications for two three- year terms on the Greenway, Trail, and Bikeway Commission that expire Dec. 31, 2014.

Serving on the board gives residents an opportunity to give their input regarding leisure, parks and recreation activities in the Town.

All applicants must be Huntersville residents, and the deadline for applications is Dec. 15, 2011.

The Greenway, Trail and Bikeway Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month, and the Parks and Recreation Commission usually meets on the third Wednesday of the each month.
