HUNTERSVILLE – Mayor Jill Swain proclaimed Saturday, Nov. 26, as Small Business Saturday.

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the year’s busiest shopping day and recently there has been a push to make the following Saturday about shopping at local stores.

Swain made the proclamation at the Monday, Nov. 21, town board meeting.
