HUNTERSVILLE – Huntersville Mayor Jill Swain plans to address Lake Norman Charter School’s junior class Dec. 14 at 1:15 p.m.

Swain will speak to students about what steps they can take to prepare for a career in public service. The presentation is part of the school’s leadership initiative.

Swain is in her second term as mayor of Huntersville and has served on the Huntersville Town Board since 1999, including two terms as mayor pro tem. She also serves on the Metropolitan Transit Commission board, the Red Line commuter rail task force, the Economic Development Executive Committee and the Arts and Science Council Board.
