The Davidson United Methodist Church Counseling Center is open to any community member from around Lake Norman, Charlotte, Concord, Denver, Lincolnton and Statesville. The center recently hired Claudia Barnes as a marriage and family therapist and Shannon White, a licensed professional counselor. Counseling Center therapists are trained in theology and psychology but accept clients’ requests to not integrate spirituality with problems.
