SouthLake Christian Academy’s middle school men’s soccer team finished its inaugural season with 13 wins and 12 losses overall and a 10-2 record in the Metrolina Athletic Conference. Led by first-year coach Preston Springer, the team of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders scored 74 goals, allowed 26 and registered seven shutouts, eventually besting the previously unbeaten Hickory Grove Baptist School 3-1 in the final league game.
