CORNELIUS – Last week, the Town of Cornelius installed the first of many wayfinding signs developed last year by the town’s Sign Committee. The committee was in charge of overhauling signs within the town to increase mobility and promote local business within the community. The first sign installed was a prototype to evaluate the readability and effectiveness of the sign and will allow modifications prior to production of all the wayfinding signs in the coming weeks

“These signs will not only improve aesthetics, but will also help guide customers to our many great businesses in town,” Mayor Pro Tem Lynette Rinker, said.

The town will be working in the coming days to finalize the wayfinding sign designs and make necessary modifications based on the prototype installed.
