BALLANTYNE – A number of regional businesses donated to the Ties and Tails Gala last weekend to benefit the Charlotte Humane Society.

Dr. Ross Nash at Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas, in Huntersville donated a basket of “doggie prizes,” including a $1,000 teeth-whitening procedure, to gala’s silent auction.

The gala was held at the Ballantyne Hotel on Nov. 6, and the total amount raised has not been released.
