CORNELIUS – On Nov. 19, the Lake Norman Lions Club will collect money for the Lions Foundation’s. White Cane Fund at the Food Lion, 20125 N. Main St.

The N.C. Lions distribute 1,000 to 1,200 white canes to the blind each year.

The White Cane Fund also contributes to Camp Dogwood for the blind in Sherrills Ford and the N.C. Lions Vision Van, which performs free vision screenings throughout the state of North Carolina.
