EnergyUnited has named David Schleicher the new vice president of engineering and operations. Schleicher is a licensed professional engineer who most recently served as general manager at PPL Electric Utilities in Allentown, Pa.
Schleicher has held numerous engineering, distribution and transmission operations and maintenance positions as well as several executive roles in his last 30 years at PPL.
Schleicher is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, and holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Scranton. He is also a graduate from the General Electric Company Power Systems Engineering School.
