HUNTERSVILLE – Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen in Huntersville has begun collecting gently-used and easily-cleaned toys to give out to area children on Christmas.

The 514 N. Old Statesville Road soup kitchen will collect the toys from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily.

As many as 200 children visit Angels and Sparrows for meals and many of them will celebrate Christmas only at the soup kitchen.
