CORNELIUS – Amy Hunt, co-owner of the Bone-ified Dog, at 20901 Torrence Chapel Road, Suite 104 in Cornelius, recently placed in two national grooming competitions.

In March, she and her Standard Poodle, Bobby, entered in the Annual Atlanta Pet Fair and placed fourth in the “Best Groom” in the Large Non-Sporting Division out of 100 competitors. In May, Hunt took second place for “Best Groom” in the Poodle Division out of 50 competitors in at the Annual Pet Stylist Competition held in Knoxville, Tenn.

Hunt, with business partner Jennifer Wilson-Rivers, an animal nutrition specialist and dog trainer, opened the Bone-ified Dog in 2010.  They offer dog grooming, dog obedience, dog daycare, pet nutritional supplements, dog food and a large selection of dog merchandise.
