DAVIDSON – The town of Davidson Parks and Recreation Department will hold a series of seminars to help those looking for work. On Nov. 7 and 9, a class will be held on improving resumes. Those in attendance will learn how to make a resume a successful marketing tool.
Students can attend Monday morning or Wednesday evening, November 7 or 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
On Nov. 14 or 15, there will be an interviewing workshop, where attendants can learn how to give a successful job interview.
Students can attend Monday morning or Tuesday evening from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
On Monday or Tuesday, Dec. 5 or 6, there will be a workshop on the key to a successful job search.
The class will go from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday or 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
On Monday or Wednesday, Dec. 12 or 14, participants can attend a class on staying motivated in the job search.
The class will run 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday or 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Each seminar costs $19. All programs are held at the Parks and Recreation office, located at 416 Armour St. in Davidson.
