Bailey Middle hits the mark
by Staff Writer
Bailey Middle School teachers, students and families raised a total of $1,427 for the Habitat for Humanity Middle School Build project at the school’s annual Back to School picnic.
As part of the Parent-Teacher-Student Association sponsored event, a handful of Bronco teachers took a turn in the seat of the Park Avenue Properties dunking booth and raised $356 through dunking ticket sales. Balla Chiropractic, Roof Depot and White and Haines Advanced Dentistry made matching donations.
In 2012, the school will partner with J.M. Alexander and Bradley Middle to construct a Habitat for Humanity house in the community.
