DAVIDSON – The Charlotte Area Transit System added new surface parking Jan. 3 for the park and ride in Davidson.  The new parking is meant accommodate additional passengers from the Route 83x Mooresville, which discontinued operation on Dec. 30.

The new surface parking location spaces are located between Lake Cornelius Boulevard and Davidson Gateway Drive.  Route 77x North Meck has been rerouted to service the new surface parking location during the morning and evening peak trips.
