HUNTERSVILLE – The Huntersville Police Department is accepting applications for the Fourth Annual Citizen’s Police Academy. The program is 10 weeks, held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Huntersville Police Department, 102 Gilead Road.  Classes will begin Jan. 25 and run until March 29.

The program is free and open to Huntersville residents who are at least 18 years old. Participants cannot have been convicted of any felony offense or of a misdemeanor in the last two years.
