Davidson Day School sixth-grader Aapri Washington competed against more than 150 athletes in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades and won the Maxwell Most Valuable Player honor at the Youth National Combine last week in Tempe, Arizona. His MVP honors earned him a spot on the December 2011 Diamond Bowl All-American seventh grade team.
