The Hopewell boys basketball team held its annual alumni basketball game on Dec. 29. The game started by former Hopewell coach Eric Davis almost six years ago as a fundraiser for the program pits former Titan basketball players against the current roster. Hopewell coach Damon Bost said the high schoolers normally win the event, but this year the alumni took out the current Titans in a shootout, 122-106. Former Titans Chaz Green (class of 2007), Zach Garst (2007), Brenden Reber (2007), Colin Reber (2009), Michael Figgers (2009), Roderick Peay (2005) and Landis Martin (2008) returned to Hopewell’s gym for the game.
