The Lake Norman Triathlon Club will hold its 2011 Kickoff Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. at The Peninsula Yacht Club in Cornelius.

The featured speaker is professional triathlete Kelly Fillnow, who’ll share her experiences from the Ford Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. The LN Triathlon Club includes first-time triathletes as well as Ironman finishers.
