Editor,
Hey, I’m the owner of the Yellow 2006 Mustang GT in the now famous – or should I say infamous – picture in last week’s Herald Weekly.
Not one of my best moments.
Because of you, I’m the ridicule and scorn of my neighbors from the Northeast. Being from New York originally, I’m supposed to know how to drive in this stuff. They say I’ve disgraced them. My indigenous new Southern friends still haven’t stopped laughing. I will never ever be able to show my face on the Long Island Expressway or Southern State Parkway again. Not to mention that my poor car has a new set of dings in it. It just so happens that not only am I famous for my winter driving skills, but I’m also a local jazz guitarist here in Huntersville. I’ve just released a new CD called The Mike Zinna Trio, The Roar of the Archtops. My illustrious and usually flamboyant Mustang is on the front cover. Because of this picture, I’m going to call my next CD “A Ditch Too Far.” Not funny.
By the way, kudos to Orlando of Jack’s Towing. He had the brains and the guts to get me out of the ditch with out destroying my baby.
To the town of Huntersville, it’s called a sand truck! With all the money you waste on ridiculous nonsense, you might want to think about at least leasing one.
